Building your WoW character and carefully completing quests takes time, effort and patience. But, there are some tricks and tips to level efficiently. This way, you can enter into the area matches or PVP grounds without totally failing miserably. Depending on the type of character or toon you’ve designed, you want to make sure you visit all the areas that benefit them and their professions.

Since the Cataclysm upgrade for the popular MMO came out, leveling your toon through the first 15 levels is easy. It’s best to remain in your starting area when you finish creating your character. This area is designed to get you leveling easily and reducing your chance of dying. After you hit level 15, the final quest giver you visit will direct you to the next area to start gaining higher levels. If you miss this, which can sometimes happen, it’s time to head for the nearest big in-game city.

If you’ve started a toon in the Eastern Kingdom, head for the Undercity. There’s a whole hoard of quests to be given there. Find Lady Sylvannas in the Silverpine Forest to start a string of quests that will work your toon up to level 25. If you began in Kalimdor, go straight to Orgrimmar. The war chief’s command board has plenty of work for a leveler like you to do. If you find yourself stuck between quests and not leveling fast enough, grind a little. Grinding is the act of killing same level monsters as you in order to push your level over a bit. It can be tiring, but it’s worth it in the end.
